Blackpool Tower! on PhotoPeach
On Tuesday 29th June reception and the rest of KS1 went on our school trip to Blackpool Tower. It was very exiting because some of us had never been to the tower before and didn’t know what to expect. We were all very good on the coach on the way to Blackpool and we had a competition to see who would spot the Tower first. There were a few false alarms of spotted electricity pylons before we saw the real thing! The first thing Reception did when we got into the tower was to see the fish in the aquarium, there were lots of different ones of all shapes and sizes. Then we went up to the top of the Tower and all the children were very brave and were amazed at how high they were. The children even went on the walk of faith which is a see through bit in the floor of the platform. the staff wern’t to keen on this bit though!! After this it was time for dinner which we ate in the circus before the acts came on. The circus was fantastic and the children loved it there was Chinese acrobats and and a clown called Mooky that had everyone laughing. Then it was off to the gift shop and Jungle Jim’s before home, the children’s behaviour as usual was outstanding and all the staff are very proud of them.

The dances are from the countries Thailand,India,Brazil/Africa,Korea and the Caribbean. Our class took part in Indian and Caribbean dancing which included Limbo dancing which we loved.
